The 2021 Festival of Books in the Alleghenies was in Ebensburg on September 18, 2021.

Funds raised at the 2021 Festival of Books helped create Cruise into Kindergarten activity booklets, which help families teach young children shapes, colors, and letters through activity and songs.

Proceeds from the 2019 Festival sponsored the Story Stroll Project to promote literacy, exercise and getting fresh air at 6 locations in Somerset County.

The 2018 Festival of Books in the Alleghenies was in Bedford on September 15, 2018.

Proceeds from the 2018 Festival supported the purchase of book bundles which are being distributed to parents of newborn babies in Bedford County.
