We invite you to partner with us as a sponsor for the 2024 Festival of Books in the Alleghenies, an annual celebration of authors, community, and literacy. This year’s festival, taking place on September 20-21 in Historic Ebensburg, promises to be our most vibrant event yet, with over 55 local authors, live music, children’s activities, writing workshops, and a variety of food trucks.
Our mission at the Festival of Books in the Alleghenies (FOBA) is to foster a love of reading, support literacy programs, and build a sense of community. This volunteer-run festival connects readers with authors, sparks creativity, and funds important local literacy initiatives. In 2023, our fundraising efforts generated $4,500 for the local Dolly Parton Imagination Libraries.
Literacy is the cornerstone of personal and community growth. By supporting FOBA, you are investing in the intellectual and cultural future of our community. The festival not only promotes literacy but also draws visitors to our region, boosting local businesses and highlighting the unique charm of Ebensburg.
We are offering several sponsorship levels to suit your organization’s needs, each providing various benefits including promotional exposure and complimentary tickets to our exclusive fundraising event on September 20, where award-winning author and Cambria County native Jennifer Haigh will be the keynote speaker.
Sponsors will be recognized on our event webpage, in promotional materials, and at the festival. Lead sponsors will also receive complimentary tickets to the Friday evening event.
We hope you will join us in championing literacy and community spirit. Your support will help ensure the success and growth of this beloved local event. Please contact me by email at info.arfb@gmail.com with any inquiries or to confirm your sponsorship.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
